
Jam Acquire Renaldo Major and Anthony Harris

BAKERSFIELD, January 31, 2014 - The Bakersfield Jam have acquired forward Renaldo Major and guard Anthony Harris, it was announced today.
Major (6-6, 210, Fresno State) returns to Bakersfield as the NBA Development League's All-Time Points Leader (4,157); a milestone he achieved last season with the Jam. In 41 games that he suited up for Bakersfield last year, Major averaged 13.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 29.0 minutes. Most recently, he played in Finland for the Joensuun Kataja club and in 17 games he posted averages of 11.5 points and 4.9 rebounds in 26.2 minutes.
Harris (6-2, 190, Miami) played in six games for the Jam in the 2011-12 season, where he averaged 11.3 points, 4.8 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 22.8 minutes. Most recently, Harris played with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants this season and in eight games he averaged 7.5 points and 3.4 assists.
"We are excited to add Renaldo and Anthony to our team," said Associate Head Coach John Bryant. "They are two respected NBA D-League veterans that have both been in a Bakersfield Jam uniform. They will bring a positive and winning attitude that we feel will be a great addition to our group."
In addition, the Jam have released guard Von Wafer and guard Aaron Johnson.
Major will wear number 7 and Harris will wear number 14. Both players are expected to be in uniform for tomorrow's game in Santa Cruz when Bakersfield takes on the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. PST. Fans can watch the game live on NBA.com/dleague or via the NBA D-League Center Court app.
