Delaware Blue Coats News Release
Newark, Del. - January 31, 2014 - The Delaware 87ers today officially announced their partnership with the Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement (DANA). The 87ers and DANA found synergy in their common desire to serve the Delaware community through the exemplary work that nonprofit organizations are doing throughout the state of Delaware.
"DANA's mission - to support local nonprofits that strengthen Delaware's children and communities - meshes perfectly with the goals of SEVENS STRONG," said Sevens President Aaron Moszer. "We are proud to help them make a bigger impact through exposure at our home games, and look forward to serving with them and their partner organizations both now and in the future."
"We welcome the 87ers to Delaware, and applaud their work in the community with their SEVENS STRONG Community Initiative," said Chris Grundner, DANA President and CEO. "DANA is proud to partner with the 87ers to the benefit of our Delaware nonprofit member organizations. These hard-working nonprofits across the state are dedicated to positively impacting the lives of Delawareans every day, and they will now be given a chance to take their missions to a new and broader audience."
To tip off the partnership, the two organizations have come together to offer DANA's nonprofit members exclusive marketing and awareness opportunities within the Bob Carpenter Center during Sevens home games. DANA members are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity by February 5, 2014. Interested DANA members should contact Kristin Davis (kdavis@delawarenonprofit.org ) for more information.
Additional opportunities for DANA members will be announced later in the season.
