Stampede Drop Final Home Game of the Season

Boise, IDAHO - The Idaho Stampede was defeated 106-86 by the Sioux Falls Skyforce in its final home game of the 2014-15 regular season.

Jared Cunningham led the Stampede in scoring for the third consecutive game, posting 25 points. Jerrelle Benimon added 16 points and 19 rebounds but the Stampede shot just 37 percent from the floor. Charles Hinkle scored 16 points off the bench, including a long jumper to pull the Idaho within 10 points in the fourth quarter. But his jumper was answered 7-0 run by Sioux Falls. The Skyforce held off the comeback attempt and sealed their fifth consecutive victory.

Scotty Hopson posted a game-high 28 points as all five starters scored in double figures for Sioux Falls. Larry Drew recorded a triple-double with 21 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in the winning effort. The Skyforce continue to climb the Eastern Conference standings as they visit the Grand Rapids Drive on March 1.

Idaho continues the season this Wednesday when they travel to Texas to play the Legends.
