LOS ANGELES, California, December 10, 2011 - Cheyne Gadson had 25 points and backcourt partner Tony Bobbitt added 18 and six rebounds and the Idaho Stampede (2-4) beat the Los Angeles D-Fenders 97-90 at the Toyota Sports Center on Saturday night. Antoine Walker added just four points, but led the team, along with Dontell Jefferson, with six assists. Walker, added to the roster on Thursday, led the Stampede in assists eight times last season. Willie Jenkins added 16 points.

Off the bench, the Stampede scored 26 points and added seven blocked shots with Mildon Ambres leading the way with 12 points and two rejections.

Idaho used a hot second quarter to catch up after falling behind by as many as 14 in the first quarter, making 12-of-20 shots, including 4-of-6 from behind the three point line - they outscored Los Angeles 31-18 that quarter. All nine Stampeders scored in the period, and the road team forced eight turnovers, which ended up in 12 Idaho points.

Los Angeles was led by Brandon Costner, who scored an Idaho opponent season-high 42 points, including 18 in the first quarter. Otis George had a game-high 11 rebounds for the D-Fenders (6-3).

Idaho plays next at home against Bakersfield on Dec. 14 at 7 p.m.
