
66ers Fall Short on the Road to Wizards

BISMARCK, N.D., Dec. 11, 2011 - Nkem Ojougboh recorded his second consecutive double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds and Brady Morningstar pitched in 14 points and a team-high six assists, but the Tulsa 66ers (5-3) fell short to the Dakota Wizards (3-3) on the road by a 93-80 final Sunday inside the Bismarck Civic Center.
Also scoring in double figures Sunday for the 66ers were Ryan Reid with 15 and Billy Rush with 10.
Defensively, Tulsa forced 17 Dakota turnovers and recorded nine steals, led by LaDustin Williams with three thefts. In addition to his double-double, Ojougboh posted two blocks.
The Wizards, who used a 32-20 scoring advantage in the fourth quarter to claim the victory, were led by Maurice Baker with 23 points. Curtis Withers added a double-double with 10 points and a game-high 14 rebounds.
The 66ers return to the court for back-to-back home games this weekend inside the Tulsa Convention Center. Tulsa will host Reno on Friday, Dec. 16, before taking on Springfield on Saturday, Dec. 17. Both games are scheduled to tip at 7 p.m. CT.
