BOISE, Idaho, February 4, 2011 - The Idaho Stampede announced today the acquisition of center Joe Dabbert. Dabbert (6-10, 255, Creighton) returns to the Treasure Valley, having played 25 games (23 starts) for the Stampede last season. He averaged 14.0 points and 8.9 rebounds in 24.9 minutes per game. Dabbert has also played for Sioux Falls and Colorado.
In his D-League career, Dabbert has played 91 games (67 starts), with averages of 11.1 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game in 20.8 minutes.
Born June 16, 1981, Dabbert played in Germany to begin the 2010-11 season, playing six games with Deutsche Bank Skyliners Frankfurt.
Dabbert will wear jersey No. 42.
