
Late Surge Pushes Tulsa To 100-96 Win Over Utah

TULSA, OK -- The Tulsa 66ers (23-7) used a 14-6 surge to end the fourth quarter to post a 100-96 victory over the Utah Flash (14-13) Friday evening inside the Tulsa Convention Center. Jerome Dyson led Tulsa with a game-high 21 points, Byron Mullens added 19 points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots and Ryan Reid posted a double-double with 10 points and a game-high 14 rebounds.
Also scoring in double figures for Tulsa was Elijah Millsap with 16, Marcus Lewis with 13 and Robert Vaden with 12. Point guard Brandon Brooks led the 66ers with seven assists.
Leading Utah with a double-double was Tony Gaffney with 10 points and 10 boards. Ronald DuPree scored 21 for the Flash.
The Flash continue on their road trip tomorrow, as they head to Iowa to take on the Iowa Energy. The Flash will return home Monday to face the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
