St. Patrick's Day Jersey Auction Grosses $27,000

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons announced today that the team grossed $27,000 at their jersey auction following Saturday's game.

The Falcons wore special green jerseys, presented by Madtown Auto Stereo and Accessories and CBS 47, which were auctioned off following the game. A majority of the auction's proceeds benefit the Fresno Police Chief's Foundation, which is is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization established by concerned business leaders to allow the community a way to support the growing unmet needs of the Fresno Police Department.

"On behalf of the Fresno Police Department and the Chief's Foundation I would like to thank the Fresno Falcons for their financial support and commitment towards making Fresno a safer community to live, work, and play," Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer said.

Fresno concludes its four-game home stand on Tuesday, hosting the Long Beach Ice Dogs at 7:00 p.m. It's another Two-for-Tuesday, presented by Carl's Jr., KMPH Fox 26, and KRZR 103.7 FM. Fans can stop by any area Carl's Jr. location and pick up a voucher allowing them to purchase one ticket at regular price and get a second ticket for free. It's also College Night with FREE admission for any college student who presents a valid student ID at the Save Mart Center Box Office. Tuesday is also Fire on Ice Night with the Falcons as the team welcomes the Fresno Fuego PDL Soccer Team to Save Mart Center, along with Major League Soccer's Real Salt Lake squad, including MLS superstar Freddy Adu.

All Falcons' games air on 1550 and 96.1 Sporting News Radio starting with the Port of Subs Pre-Game Show 15 minutes prior to face off.
