PENSACOLA, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots finished off the week with a mark of 0-2-0-1. The Ice Pilots head into this week's action with a record of 19-40-1-3 for 42 points, 8th in the South Division.

DODGE ICE PILOTS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: The Dodge Ice Pilots Player of the Week is goaltender Evan Lindsay for his outstanding play over the weekend. Lindsay faced a total of 100 shots in two games and saved 94 of them. He was outstanding keeping his team in the lead or in contention in his two starts.

PILOT POINTS: Specialty teams have been a large part of the success since February 1st for the Pensacola Ice Pilots. Since Feb. 1, Pensacola's power play has gone 21-116, a rate of 18%, which is sixth in the ECHL. Pensacola's penalty killing has gone 117-134, a rate of 87.32 %, which would be No. 1 in the ECHL. David Wrigley has three goals in his last two games, including two on the power play. Torrie Gadja has two assists in his last three games. Evan Lindsay stopped 94-100 shots in two consecutive starts over the weekend.

UPCOMING SCHEDULE:

TUESDAY, MAR. 20 VS. CHARLOTTE CHECKERS, 7:05 PM THE HANGAR: There are just two more meetings this season between the Ice Pilots and the Checkers and all games have been close and very exciting. The Ice Pilots have two victories at The Hangar and one in Charlotte. The two clubs will meet next Tuesday and Thursday in Charlotte.

SATURDAY, MAR. 24 VS. AUGUSTA LYNX, 7:05 PM THE HANGAR: It's the last meeting of the season between the Lynx and Ice Pilots and marks the return of former forward Greg Watson to the Gulf Coast.

PROMOTION: It's MILITARY NIGHT at the Hangar. Active military personnel can purchase tickets to the game for as low as $5 each in advance and $6 at the box office. It's also Dan Sullivan Mohawk Night. Come to the Civic Center at 4pm and get a free Mohawk haircut by Chastain's Salon and get a free ticket to the game.

SUNDAY, MAR. 25 VS. COLUMBIA INFERNO, 6:05 PM THE HANGAR: It's the return to Pensacola of former Ice Pilots' forward Brendan Cook who was sent from Utah to Columbia at the trade deadline.

This is the last meeting of the season between the two teams that the Ice Pilots have won just one at The Hangar while they have taken three in Columbia, South Carolina.

PROMOTION: It's ZOO NIGHT with the Ice Pilots. Team will donate a portion of each ticket sold at the box office for Sunday's game. Zoomobile will be at the game. Help support the NW Florida Zoo by purchasing a ticket to the game.

BROADCAST INFO: All three games can be heard on the official flagship station of the Ice Pilots Classic Country AM1620, beginning wth the pre-game show at 6:45 pm. The play-by-play follows at 7 p.m. with Denis J. Puska bringing you all of the exciting action. Fans can also tune in on line at www.icepilots.com by clicking on the Sportsjuice logo. Video coverage is provided by the B2 Networks and a high speed internet connection is required in order to view the games.

ICE PILOTS REWIND:

GWINNETT GLADIATORS 3 @ PENSACOLA ICE PILOTS 2: The Ice Pilots battled back from two one-goal deficits only to fall in the final three minutes of the game to the Gladiators 3-2. Goals for the Ice Pilots came off the sticks of Eric Johnson and John Hecimovic. Evan Lindsay stopped 47 of 50 shots and took the loss.

SOUTH CAROLINA STINGRAYS 4 @ PENSACOLA ICE PILOTS 3, SHOOTOUT: The Pensacola Ice Pilots built leads of 2-0 and 3-1 only to see the Stingrays rally, including the equalizer with 1:02 remaining in the third period. After spending the entire overtime penalty killing, the Ice Pilots got the game to a shootout. The Stingrays would score the lone two goals. David Wrigley had two goals, while Dan Sullivan notched the single. Evan Lindsay turned aside 47 of 50 shots in the contest.

PENSACOLA ICE PILOTS 2 @ SOUTH CAROLINA STINGRAYS 3 - The Ice Pilots saw a 2-1 second-period lead evaporate with two goals by South Carolina in the first 1:43 of the third period. The loss spoiled the debut of rookie goaltender Adam Geragosian who played well. David Wrigley and Sergei Ogorodnikov notched the goals for Pensacola.
