St. Louis Blues Recall Goaltender Ville Husso from San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced that the club has recalled goaltender Ville Husso from the American Hockey League's (AHL) San Antonio Rampage. Additionally, the Rampage have recalled goaltender Joe Cannata from the Colorado Eagles (ECHL).

Husso has appeared in 33 games with the Rampage this season, posting a 13-11-0 record. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound goaltender ranks fourth overall in the AHL with a .926 save percentage and eighth with a 2.39 goals-against average. A native of Helsinki, Finland, Husso was originally drafted by the Blues in the fourth round of the 2014 NHL Draft (94th overall"‹).

Cannata began the season with the Eagles, earning 18 wins in his 24 games played while registering a 2.12 goals-against average and ECHL-leading .933 save percentage. The Wakefield, Massachusetts native has appeared in two games with the Rampage this season, recording a 2.23 goals-against average and an .880 save percentage."‹

The Rampage return to the ice tonight when they take on the Iowa Wild at 7:30 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
