Squirrels and Curve Postponed Tuesday at the Diamond

Funnville - The Richmond Flying Squirrels and Altoona Curve were postponed on Tuesday night due to inclement weather at The Diamond. The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday. Both games will be seven-inning affairs, with the first game beginning at 5:05 p.m. Gates on Wednesday will open at 4:30 p.m. Tickets for Tuesday's game can be exchanged at the box office for a later date in 2018 (some restrictions apply. Wednesday at The Diamond is now a doubleheader with gates opening at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday is also JMU Night and Wine Up Wednesday, with wine specials running from 5:30-730 p.m. The Flying Squirrels homestand has now been condensed to seven games in five days with another doubleheader scheduled for Saturday. Richmond will send RHP Shaun Anderson (5-3, 3.07) will take the mound in game one to face Altoona RHP Mitch Keller (7-2, 3.52). Jordan Johnson (5-6, 3.76) will toe the rubber in game two vs. Altoona LHP Taylor Hearn (2-4, 3.57).
