Squadron Win Streak Snapped by Wisconsin in 120-107 Loss

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Izaiah Brockington led the Squadron with 28 points, one shy of a career-high for the Iowa State product, as Birmingham's four-game win streak was snapped by the Wisconsin Herd, 120-107, Wednesday Night in Oshkosh, Wisc.

Birmingham (6-6) led by one after each quarter but was outscored, 33-19, in the final period as the Herd moves to 6-6 on the season.

E.J. Liddell dropped 19 points, while both Jalen Crutcher and Landers Nolley II scored 18. Liddell and Brockington paced the Squadron in rebounding with nine apiece.

Three Wisconsin players, TyTy Washington Jr. (20 points, 12 assists), Marques Bolden (16 points, 16 rebounds) and Wenyen Gabriel (11 points, 18 rebounds) notched double-doubles on the night. MarJon Beauchamp led the Herd in scoring with 36 points.

The Squadron head home to Legacy Arena for a Sunday contest against the Windy City Bulls with tip-off set for 3 p.m. This is the first all-time meeting between the Squadron and Bulls and will be nationally-televised on NBA TV.
