Clippers Stung by the Swarm, Fall Short 111-100

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Clippers (3-8) fell short to the Greensboro Swarm (4-7), 111-100, late on Tuesday night in Ontario on the first end of back-to-back matchups against the Swarm.

Six different Clippers chipped in with double digit scoring performances, led by team high 23 on four three-pointers from Armoni Brooks. Elijah Harkless poured in a solid 20 points on 7-of-10 along with 11 assists and 5 rebounds. Bryson Williams added another 18 points and 6 rebounds, while Joey Hauser and T.J. Clark contributed 14 and 10 points, respectively.

The victorious Swarm had all five starters contribute double digit scoring with RJ Hunter's 32 points on 8-of-13 from the three-point line and Jeremiah Tilman double-double with 27 points and 16 rebounds. Terrel Brown Jr.'s 14 points, Jaylen Sims' 12 points, and Marcus Garrett's 10 points rounded out the production for the Swarm.

After a strong start from the Swarm behind Jeremiah Tilmon's 17 first quarter points, the Clippers responded with a 21-8 second quarter run giving them a narrow four-point lead going into the break behind 16 first half points from Elijah Harkless. The Clippers would go on to give away their halftime lead after a 27-20 third quarter from the Swarm. Although the Clippers pulled within three points in the early fourth quarter, the Swarm outscored the Clippers 35-25 in fourth as they eventually captured the win.
