Squadron Victorious, 122-120, in Season Finale Against College Park

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron topped the visiting College Park Skyhawks, 122-120, on Saturday night at Legacy Arena at the BJCC in the final game of the 2022-23 season.

Birmingham never trailed in the contest and led by as many as 12 in the contest. Although the Squadron was outscored in the paint and in second chance points, Birmingham shot 56.6% (47-of-83) from the field to maintain the advantage.

Kelan Martin, the Squadron's leading scorer on the season, led Birmingham in scoring with 27 points, while Dereon Seabron followed up his triple-double in his last time on the floor with a Saturday double-double (19 points, 11 rebounds). Malcolm Hill tossed in 23 as the Squadron's second-leading scorer on the night.

College Park's Brandon Williams dropped 40 points and Donovan Williams scored 25 while four-of-five starters scored in double-figures.

With the win, the Squadron split the season series with College Park.

Birmingham finishes the season with a mark of 11-21.
