Westchester Knicks News Release

WASHINGTON, DC - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, fell to the Capital City Go-Go, 114-105 in its regular season finale Saturday night at Entertainment and Sports Arena.

Melvin Frazier Jr. (trade) led the Knicks (9-23) with 27 points (10-17), 11 rebounds, three blocks and just one turnover with almost 47 minutes played on the night. Jordan Allen (available player pool) gave a 22-point effort off the bench (8-12), sank four triples, and hauled four boards. Dmytro Skapintsev secured a double-double comprised of 17 points and 10 rebounds. Quinton Rose (returning rights) and Justin Wright-Foreman (returning rights) chipped in 13 and 11 respective points.

Jules Bernard had 18 points and five rebounds for the Go-Go (19-13). Devon Dotson finished with 17 points and a game-high eight assists. Davion Mintz added 15 points and Trevion Williams' 17-rebounding effort led on the night. Isaiah Mucius scored 15 points on 50-percent and collected five boards.

Capital City credited a lead as large as 22 points which was apparent in the second quarter. An 11-7 run by Westchester with under three minutes to go before the break made things more interesting as it only trailed 61-54 heading to the locker room.

The second half looked considerably more even with the Knicks only being outscored by four through the third quarter, 28-24, and besting the Go-Go 27-25 in the fourth. However, Capital City's sizable lead superseded any Westchester offensive spurt and it locked in the victory.
