Greensboro Swarm Fall in Season Finale

Greensboro Swarm News Release
(GREENSBORO, NC) -In the last game of the regular season, the Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, fell to Raptors 905 (Toronto Raptors affiliate) by the score of 137-126. The Swarm ended the regular season at 11-21 while the Raptors 905 wrapped up at 16-16.
Raptors 905 took a hold early and led the Swarm 20-13 in the first five minutes. Gabe Brown led the effort for the 905 with 13 points while Isaiah Whaley led the way for the home team with 11 points to close out the quarter. Before closing the half, the Swarm fought back with a 63-58 lead and had three players in double-digits.
To open up the second half, the home team struggled to fight back and stayed behind the visiting side by 11 points. Sterling Brown finished with a career-high 28 points and six assists while David Johnson led the way for the 905 and also earned a career-high with 29 points, six assists and two steals. Raptors 905 also saw three others with double-digit points efforts: Brown (21), Keith Williams (18) and Koby McEwen (13).
Whaley fought hard for the Swarm as he earned a regular season-high 30 points with Jaylen Sims close behind with 29 points. Other top performers for the Swarm included Trevon Scott (26 points, 10 rebounds), Kobi Simmons (24 points).
This concludes the regular season for the Greensboro Swarm. The team would like to thank fans for their continued support and look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2023-24.
