BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron, NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, fell, 139-128, in the second game of a back-to-back against the Westchester Knicks in White Plains, N.Y. Friday night.

The Squadron (8-11) were paced in the scoring column by the G League's leading scorer on the season, Malcolm Hill, and his 39 points. Fellow Pelicans assignment player E.J. Liddell dropped 20 and hauled in 11 boards for a double-double in the losing effort.

Landers Nolley II backed up last night's triple-double with 16 points off the bench, while two-way guard Dereon Seabron scored 23 on 9-of-13 shooting.

Westchester (6-13) had all five starters score in double-figures as Jacob Toppin led the way with 40 points and 16 rebounds. Two other Knicks, Obadiah Noel (20 points, 10 rebounds) and Brandon Goodwin (20 points, 14 assists) recorded double-doubles in the win.

The Squadron are now set for a Thursday night showdown with the College Park Skyhawks at the Gateway Center in College Park, Ga. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. CT on Feb. 15 and the game can be seen on ESPN+ and My68.
