Ontario Clippers News Release

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Clippers (8-10) fall to the Oklahoma City Blue (9-9), 118-110, on Thursday night in the second game of a back-to-back.

Six Clippers recorded double-figure scoring in the loss, including all five starters, led by Kobe Brown's 22 points. Moussa Diabate followed close behind with 17-points to go along with 11 rebounds for the double-double. Xavier Moon added an all-around 15-point, 7-assist, 5-rebound performance. Jordan Miller (13 points) and Joshua Primo (10 points) round out the starting unit. Armoni Brooks added 11 points off the Clipper bench.

Four OKL players recorded 20 or more points, led by Jaden Shackelford's game-high 23 points. He added 7 assists and 5 rebounds in the victory. Adam Flagler's 22 points and Jahmi'us Ramsey's 21 points lead the Blue second unit. Keyonte Johnson added 21 points for OKL.

Ontario came out strong to take an early 9-point advantage, but the Blue responded with fury, rapidly turning their deficit into a then-game-high 10-point lead by the end of the first quarter. The Blue would extend their lead to 14 in the second, but the Clippers stayed in it, tying the game late in the third and eventually regaining a one-point advantage early in the fourth. That lead wouldn't last long as OKL's lead once again ballooned to 14 to fend off the Ontario comeback.

Next Up The Ontario Clippers head south of the border to visit the Mexico City Capitanes for a two-game series on Sunday, February 11. The action tips off at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, at 11:00am PT and can be viewed on NBAGLeague.com and ClipperVision.
