With the victory Greensboro improves to 5-10 on the season while Long Island slips to 9-8.

During that stretch, Tilmon was an efficient 4-of-5 from the field with all his points coming in the paint. Greensboro forced seven turnovers to finish the quarter with a 28-21 advantage.

Despite keeping the visitors at bay in the first, the Nets rallied in the second and erased the Swarm's lead. Edwards led all scorers at the break with 15 points and propelled the Nets to a 51-46 lead.

Hunter and Jaylen Sims combined for 14 points at the start of the second half to knock the Nets' lead down to a single point. Kent Bazemore contributed 11 points of his own in the period, which included three pivotal three-point baskets that saw Greensboro take a 78-75 lead headed into the final frame.

The resilient Nets bounced back early in the fourth to take back the top spot. Then with six minutes remaining in the contest, the Swarm surmounted an 11-0 run to reclaim the lead. During the run, M.J. Walker knocked down two three-point buckets which ignited the Swarm faithful to their feet. Greensboro did not look back for the remainder of the contest and closed out its first home victory since January.
