
Spurs Outlast Legends in Overtime, 115-113

AUSTIN - The Austin Spurs (14-11) claimed an overtime victory over the Texas Legends (15-14), 115-113, on Thursday night at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.
Two-Way guard David Duke Jr. led the Spurs with 27 points and 9 rebounds. On assignment from the Spurs, Sidy Cissoko finished with a final stat line of 27 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists while Two-Way forward RaiQuan Gray contributed 18 points and 9 rebounds.
Austin took an early lead by 15 points in the opening quarter, 39-24. The Spurs kept the momentum going in the second period, notching 14 points in the paint to finish ahead at the break, 64-52. Cissoko finished with 17 first half points for Austin. In the third frame, Theo Pinson went to score 11 points that fueled the Legends to outscore the Spurs 32-25 to cut the deficit to five, 89-84. Texas would continue to close the gap in the fourth quarter as Pinson would hit a three-point shot to give the Legends a 104-102 lead with 1:55 remaining. Both teams exchanged back-and-forth baskets but Olivier-Maxence Prosper's dunk with 11.9 seconds tied the game at the end of regulation, 108-108. After gaining the first possession in overtime, the Legends made the first basket to take a 110-108 advantage. Gray answered back with a three-pointer and a layup to put the Spurs up 113-110. Though Prosper would score and Tony Bradley would hit one free throw to level it out to 113-113, Cissoko would finish the game with a layup to give the Silver and Black a victory.
Pinson led the Legends with 32 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. Mike Miles Jr. tallied 24 points while Prosper finished with 15 points for Texas.
