Osceola Magic Defeat Long Island Nets at Home

The Osceola Magic defeated the Long Island Nets 123-117 Friday at Osceola Heritage Park.
Mac McClung had a game-high 33 points and dished out nine assists.
"Coach just told me to go out there and have fun," McClung said. "The three ball wasn't falling for me, so I really just looked for my teammates. And when it came to closing the game, we just had to make the right plays."
The two teams battled back and forth throughout the night, tallying 12 total lead changes. The Magic held the Nets to just 34% shooting from beyond the arc and 47% from the field. Additionally, Osceola went 13-14 from the free-throw line to help seal the victory at home.
D.J. Wilson put up 26 points, nine rebounds and six assists in the victory.
"It feels good to win on our home court," Wilson said. "We were able to match their runs; it's important to do that, especially late in the game. It just shows that we're growing each game. We have another one tomorrow, so we can't focus too much on this. It's on to the next one."
The Osceola Magic (18-9), NBA G League Affiliate of the Orlando Magic, will host the Long Island Nets Saturday, March 16, at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee at 7 p.m. for their Puerto Rican Heritage Night.
