Calgary Stampeders News Release
(Calgary) - Both Safeway and Sport Chek have secured 10,000 and 7,500 tickets respectively at McMahon Stadium for each of the Calgary Stampeder home games.
The tickets reserved by both Safeway and Sport Chek will be sold at a reduced rate of 44% below the regular price and will be sold at all Safeway and Sport Chek locations.
"We see this as a relatively inexpensive way for Stampeder fans to enjoy our product," said Ted Hellard, President of the Calgary Stampeders Football Club. "We feel it's important to give everyone the opportunity to take in the games from the confines of McMahon Stadium."
Both sections are designed to attract a crowd who love Calgary Stampeder Football at a reduced price. The Safeway zone will be a non-alcoholic area, the same as previous years.
