Spoone Heads to Norfolk

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce a roster move today. RHP Chorye Spoone transferred to class Triple-A Norfolk. No corresponding move was made. With the move, the Baysox have 23 active players on their 24-man roster.

An updated roster and complete list of transactions is attached to this message.

Spoone was the Baysox opening day starter. On the season Spoone is 0-0 with a 9.00 ERA in 3.0 innings pitched while walking five batters and striking out three. Last year, Spoone was 7-6 with a 4.02 ERA over 132.0 innings.
