
SpongeBob SquarePants Set For Two Visits With The Connecticut Sun

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (July 8, 2008) - Nickelodeon's popular character SpongeBob SquarePants will be visiting the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday, July 15th and Wednesday, July 16th.
Fans will have the opportunity to say hello or have their photo taken with their favorite porous pal as the Sun take on the New York Liberty on July 15th. SpongeBob will be available on the Mohegan Sun Arena concourse beginning at 6 p.m. until the end of play. Tickets are available to the game by calling 1.877.WNBA.Tix or by logging onto www.ticketmaster.com.
SpongeBob will also be making an appearance at Connecticut Sun Camp Day on July 16th. Camp Day is open to children ages 6-17 and will run from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. in Mohegan Sun Arena. Everyone at Camp Day will have the opportunity to participate in special contests, a two-ball competition, a player and coach question and answer session as well as a meet and greet with Blaze, the lovable team mascot. Tickets are just $10 and include a ticket voucher for any 2008 Connecticut Sun regular season home game. In its sixth season in Connecticut, the Sun have been one of the most successful teams in the league, and will be contending for their sixth straight trip to the WNBA playoffs in 2008.
