(Windsor, ON) - Christian Fischer (2G, 1A) and Mikhail Sergachev (1G, 2A) each had three points and the Spitfires scored four unanswered goals in the third period in a 6-1 win Thursday night at the WFCU Centre.

Mario Culina made 13 saves for the win in goal and chipped in a pair of assists, as Windsor (31-14-5-0) pushed its lead over the Sarnia Sting to five points for first in the West Division.

Danny Desrochers (13) cut the Windsor lead to 2-1 at 14:30 of the third period. But Sudbury (12-33-3- 1) couldn't keep pace with the Spitfires in the third. Fischer's second of the night and 24th of the season, along with goals by Brendan Lemieux (27), Cole Carter (6) and Luke Boka (2) put the game out of reach.
