(Windsor, ON) - Christian Fischer (2G, 1A) and Mikhail Sergachev (1G, 2A) each had three points and the Spitfires scored four unanswered goals in the third period in a 6-1 win Thursday night at the WFCU Centre.
Mario Culina made 13 saves for the win in goal and chipped in a pair of assists, as Windsor (31-14-5-0) pushed its lead over the Sarnia Sting to five points for first in the West Division.
Danny Desrochers (13) cut the Windsor lead to 2-1 at 14:30 of the third period. But Sudbury (12-33-3- 1) couldn't keep pace with the Spitfires in the third.
