PETERBOROUGH, Ontario - The Hamilton Bulldogs (18-27-4-0) fell 4-1 to the Peterborough Petes (24-20-2-4) Thursday night at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.

The Petes opened the scoring half way through the first period as Adam Timleck scored his 16th of the season from Hunter Garlent and Kyle Jenkins at 11:11.

Hunter Garlent gave Peterborough a 2-0 lead at 6:15 of the second period as he netted his team leading 26th of the campaign. Kyle Jenkins picked up his second assist of the night while Eric Cornel picked up the additional helper.

The Bulldogs cut the lead in half as Trent Fox finished off a Michael Cramarossa pass just over a minute later.

The goal gives Fox a team high 21 on the season.

Josh Coyle restored the Petes two goal lead when he scored on the power play from Kyle Jenkins and Dominik Masin at 9:38.

Peterborough added one more in the third period when Dominik Masin scored at 15:16 to make it 4-1.

Hamilton is back at it Friday when they visit the 67's in Ottawa. The Bulldogs will return to the FirstOntario Centre on Saturday, February 6th to take on the Eastern Conference leading Kingston Frontenacs. Puck drop will be 7:00pm.
