Spinners, Cutters Cancelled Monday Night
July 22, 2013 - New York-Penn League (NYPL)
Lowell Spinners News Release
WILLIAMSPORT, PENN. - The Lowell Spinners and Williamsport Crosscutters were rained out Monday night at Historic Bowman Field in Williamsport.
With the two teams not set to meet again in the 2013 season, the game is cancelled and will not be made up, bringing potential playoff tiebreaking scenarios into play down the road.
The Spinners return to LeLacheur Park for a night of rest, as opposed to the early morning arrival had the game been played, as they welcome the Brooklyn Cyclones to LeLacheur Park for a three-game series beginning Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m.
The homestand includes a Season Ticket Holder Exclusive Hat Giveaway, Christmas in July, Jack Kerouac Lowell High School Football Bobble Head Giveaway and a special 11:05 a.m. first pitch Wednesday. Tickets for all three games remain available at www.LowellSpinners.com.
