Spikes Offering Fans Special "Heat Wave Exchange Program"

State College Spikes News Release


(STATE COLLEGE, PA) - Due to the record-setting high temperatures in Central Pennsylvania, the State College Spikes will give fans the opportunity to exchange their unused tickets from Thursday or Friday for games on Sunday, July 23 and Monday, July 24 with the "Heat Wave Exchange Program."

Fans holding tickets dated Thursday, July 21 or Friday, July 22 can present their unused game ticket at the Spikes Box Office and receive a seat of equal or lesser value to Sunday or Monday's games vs. the Brooklyn Cyclones (New York Mets), based upon availability. The exchange must be done in person at the Box Office, but fans are invited to contact the Spikes at (814) 272-1711 with questions regarding the "Heat Wave" exchange policy.

The Spikes will present a wide array of promotions over the next two nights, including FIREWORKS presented by Northwest Savings Bank and a special appearance by Penn State football legend Michael Robinson on Sunday. Monday, the Spikes give an early present to fans with Christmas in July and Dollar Dog Monday, presented by 95.3 FM 3WZ.
