
Sparks Trade Sydney Wiese to Washington Mystics

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Sparks announced today the acquisition of a 2022 second-round pick from the Washington Mystics in exchange for Sydney Wiese.
"Sydney Wiese has been an incredible teammate and member of the Sparks organization since 2017," General Manager/Head Coach Derek Fisher said. "Her contributions on and off the court made a mark on the Los Angeles community. We wish her nothing but the best in her next chapter."
Wiese was drafted No. 11 overall in the 2017 WNBA Draft by the LA Sparks. In four seasons, she averaged 3.9 points, 1.1 rebounds, 1.0 assists, while shooting 39.5% on 3-pointers.
