MASHIJEVIC: JJ Matijevic has gone 7-for-14 with three doubles, a triple, two home runs and four RBI over his last three games. Matijevic has hit out of the leadoff spot for the last three games, which are his first appearances of this season out of the leadoff spot. Matijevic hit a pair of solo homers on Friday night, giving the Space Cowboys their sixth multi-homer game of the year. He is second on the Space Cowboys and tied for eighth in the Pacific Coast League with 11 homers.

ON THE HUNT: Hunter Brown leads the Pacific Coast League with 73 strikeouts, is second with a 2.25 ERA, first with .188 opponent's batting average and fourth with a 1.15 WHIP. His 12.63 SO/9 is eighth-best of all Minor League pitchers with at least 50 innings. Brown was named the Astros Minor League Pitcher of the Month for May. He tossed a career-best seven scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts on May 26 in El Paso, setting single-game highs for Brown and the Space Cowboys this year, and was named the Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Week on May 30.

VIVE LA FRANCE: JP France matched his season high with eight strikeouts on Sunday vs. Las Vegas. France is fourth in the Pacific Coast League with 63 strikeouts. His 11.49 strikeouts-per-nine-innings ratio is fifth-best of Triple A pitchers with at least 45 innings.
