'LEE'D THE PACK: Korey Lee had his contract selected by the Astros on Friday and is set to make his Major League debut with his first appearance. Lee would be the third Space Cowboys player to make his MLB debut this season, joining IF JJ Matijevic and LHP Parker Mushinski. Lee is currently ranked as the Astros' No. 2 prospect, per MLBPipeline. Lee has collected a hit in 11 of his last 13 games, hitting .320 (16x50) with three doubles, a triple, two home runs and 14 RBI over that stretch. Lee has 10 home runs on the season, which are tied for fifth-most of all Triple A catchers. His 21 RBI in June were tied for sixth-most in the Pacific Coast League
ON THE HUNT: Hunter Brown tossed six scoreless innings and struck out seven in his start Thursday in Albuquerque. Brown has not allowed a run through his last two outings, spanning 11 innings pitched. He leads the Pacific Coast League with a 2.42 ERA, 92 strikeouts and a .184 opponent's batting average, is second with a 1.10 WHIP and tied for third with five wins. His 12.36 SO/9 is best off all Triple A pitchers and sixth-best of all MiLB pitchers (min. 65 IP). Brown was named Astros Minor League Pitcher of the Month for May.
RAYO RETURNS: Jose Siri has gone 4-for-10 with a double, two home runs and five RBI since being optioned to the Space Cowboys on 6/24. Siri had three home runs, nine RBI and six stolen bases in 45 games with the Astros this season. He hit .318 (115x362) and had a .921 OPS in 94 games with Sugar Land in '21. He led the team with 24 stolen bases and was tied for the team lead with 16 home runs.
