Boise, Idaho - The Everett AquaSox defeated the Boise Hawks on Monday night, riding a seven-run sixth inning to victory.
The game was scoreless until the fourth inning when the AquaSox picked up one run off a Hawks error to take the early lead 1-0.
In the sixth inning, the Sox broke the game open, scoring seven runs while sending 13 batters to the plate en route to an 8-0 lead.
The Sox would add another run on a solo homer from Yordi Calderon in the top of the seventh before the Hawks got on the board in the bottom half of the inning.
Kevin Padlo led off with his second triple of the season before Brian Mundell drove him home with an RBI single to left field.
In the ninth inning, Yordi Calderon smacked his second homer of the game, a two-run shot that gave the Sox the 11-1 victory.
Rohn Pierce grabbed the win for the Sox, pitching two innings while putting up zeros across the board.
Dylan Thompson picked up the loss, going two and two thirds of an inning and giving up seven runs, three earned, on five hits with one strikeout.
The Hawks (8-18) will have an off day tomorrow as they travel to face the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes in a three game series beginning on Wednesday.
Notes: Carlos Herrera added his eleventh stolen base of the season... Brian Mundell added his seventh RBI of the season.
