Sox Look to Close Out Series vs. Cowlitz with Win
June 18, 2012 - West Coast League (WCL)
Wenatchee AppleSox News Release
Things didn't necessarily go as planned for the AppleSox on Sunday night as the team saw its nine-game winning streak snapped, but the Sox are eager for the opportunity to rebound tonight in the series finale at 7:05.
Wenatchee took the series opener from Cowlitz in convincing fashion, winning 13-0, and didn't have any trouble swinging the bat on Sunday either - the issue was getting runners across the plate. The Sox rolled off 16 hits, but couldn't capitalize in the 5-4 defeat.
The rubber match is scheduled for tonight at Paul Thomas, Sr. Baseball Stadium. Purchase your tickets in advance here or at the Town Toyota Center box office. General admission tickets will also be available at the stadium ticket booth, which opens one hour prior to game time.
