
Southwest Division Champion Austin Spurs to Begin Playoffs in Rio Grande Valley on April 5

AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Spurs, presented by SWBC, are set to begin the 2016 NBA D-League Playoffs on Tuesday, April 5, at 7:30 p.m. when they take on the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in Game 1 of the best-of-three opening round series of the Western Conference playoffs.
Austin (30-20) finished the regular season first in the Southwest Division and second in the Western Conference. Their opening round opponent, Rio Grande Valley (29-21), ranked second in the Southwest Division and third in the Western Conference.
Game 2 will be held in Austin at Cedar Park Center on Thursday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m. Game 3 (if necessary) will also be at Cedar Park Center on Saturday, April 9, at noon. Fans can view all the games free of charge on the D-League YouTube channel (NBADLeague).
