EL SEGUNDO, Calif. - The NBA G League announced today the matchup between the South Bay Lakers and Austin Spurs, originally scheduled for this Thursday, January 6 at 5:30 P.M. PT in Cedar Park, Texas, has been postponed.
After finishing the Showcase Cup with a 9-3 record, advancing to the semifinals of the Winter Showcase Tournament and leading the G League with eight NBA call-ups this season, the South Bay Lakers will begin the 2021-22 G League regular season at home next Thursday, January 13, as they take on the Rio Grande Valley Vipers at 7:00 P.M. PT at the UCLA Health Training Facility.
