BIRMINGHAM, AL - The Birmingham Squadron (0-0), NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, will take on the Stockton Kings (0-0), G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, in a back-to-back series on Wednesday and Thursday night at 9:00 p.m. CT.

The series against the Kings marks the start of the G League regular season. All G League team records have now reset to 0-0 following the G League Showcase that spanned from November through December. Now all 28 G League clubs will compete in a 36-game regular season that will end in the G League Playoffs in April.

Coverage of the two-game series will be brought to you by play-by-play announcer Eli Gold and color analyst Rick Moody. The Squadron broadcast will air live locally on My68 and V94.9 FM, and fans can watch the live stream on ESPN+ or online on the team's website at https://birmingham.gleague.nba.com/live/. My68 is carried by most major streaming services like YouTube TV and Sling, as well as most major cable providers such as Dish, Direct TV, Spectrum and Comcast.

Over the break, the Squadron have signed two new players to the roster, guard Nate Bradley and guard Marlon Stewart.

Bradley (6-4, 175) rejoins the Squadron after spending training camp with the team before being waived at final roster cuts. The Faulkner University grad joins the Squadron after playing one season in the Czech Republic where he averaged 16.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.6 steals in 28.3 minutes per game over nine games.

Stewart (6-3, 190) joins the Squadron after spending time with the Lakeland Magic, G League affiliate of the Orlando Magic, during the Showcase portion of the 2021-22 season. Stewart played in five games with the Magic and averaged 1.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 0.4 steals in 14.6 minutes per game. The University of North Dakota grad also played overseas in Germany this season before being drafted by the Magic. He played in two games with the VfL Kirchheim Knights and averaged 7.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 17.5 minutes per game.
