The Stars fought back in the second quarter, outscoring the Lakers by 13, to take a 65-56 halftime lead. Mitrou-Long and Jarius Lyle combined for 18 points in the second as the duo shot 5-6 from beyond the arc in the period.

Bonga and Williams combined for 19 points in the quarter, but Salt Lake City maintained a slight lead, 87-83, as the two teams entered the fourth. The Stars secured the victory in the fourth quarter as Tyler Cavanaugh scored nine points in the frame.
