
Sounds Rained out Again Thursday

Nashville Sounds News Release
DES MOINES, Iowa - For the second day in a row, the Nashville Sounds game in Iowa has been cancelled due to rain. The scheduled 6:35 p.m. contest against the Iowa Cubs at Principal Park has been rescheduled for Friday, June 21, as a part of a doubleheader in Iowa beginning at 5:00 p.m.
This marks the third rainout in the past eight days for Nashville, which also had its scheduled homestand finale rained out last Thursday.
The Sounds and I-Cubs will continue their series with a 7:05 p.m. meeting on Friday evening. Right-hander Johnny Hellweg (1-1, 4.00) is scheduled to make the start for Nashville and face Iowa right-hander Nick Struck (0-1, 6.00).
