Memphis, Tenn. - Nashville cruised by Memphis 5-1 Tuesday night at AutoZone Park behind a complete-game effort from starter Sam Narron.

Memphis starter Jaime Garcia took the loss after allowing four runs, two earned, on five hits with four strikeouts in five innings. The Sounds beat Garcia for the third time in four games. Hoffpauir went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles for the ‘Birds and Nick Stavinoha had two hits in his return from St. Louis. Stavinoha lined into a triple play in the second inning to become the first Redbird ever to hit into a triple play and the first Memphis professional player to do so since 1972.
