
Sounders FC 2021 Preseason Begins March 1 at Starfire Sports

SEATTLE, WASH. - Seattle Sounders FC today unveiled its schedule for the 2021 preseason, with preparations for the upcoming campaign to be held primarily at Starfire Sports, in addition to one scheduled trip to Los Angeles from April 6-11. The Rave Green are set to play a select number of preseason matches, including a training game against the Portland Timbers on March 30. The 2021 MLS regular season begins on Saturday, April 17, with the league's full schedule set to be released at a later date.
Prior to training sessions beginning on Monday, Sounders FC players reported to Seattle on February 21 to begin the required quarantine before their entrance physicals. While training at Starfire Sports throughout the month of March, the Rave Green are scheduled to play training games against Tacoma Defiance on March 25 and the Portland Timbers on March 30. Brian Schmetzer's side has a series of tune-up matches scheduled while down in Southern California, first on April 7 against LA Galaxy II and then a double-header on April 11 against San Diego Loyal SC and LA Galaxy II.
Sounders FC's First Team roster sits at 22 players ahead of 2021 preseason preparations.
