BRIDGEPORT, CT â Continuing their year-round commitment to the community, the American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have several appearances scheduled for the month of May. The Sound Tigers' upcoming community calendar includes the following events:

Wednesday, May 11th, 3:30 p.m. "Jump Rope For Heart" at Jane Ryan School in Trumbull
Friday, May 13th, 9 a.m. Board of Education Book Drive at Park City Magnet School in Bridgeport
Friday, May 20th, 5 p.m. "Tour of Connecticut" Bike Tour and Expo in New Haven
Saturday, May 21st, 9 a.m. McKinley School in Bridgeport
Saturday, May 21st, 11 a.m. â 12 noon Spring Fair at Tashua Elementary School in Trumbull
Saturday, May 21, 11 a.m. â 12 noon Spring Fair at Springdale Elementary School in Stamford
Sunday, May 22nd, 10 a.m. Walk-A-Thon in Stamford
