Philadelphia took a 3-1 lead in the East Division Final with a 5-3 victory in Wilkes-Barre last night... The Penguins had allowed a total of five goals in four home playoff outings before Game 4... Mike Richards scored shorthanded in the first period, and Patrick Sharp and Jon Sim scored on the power play during the Phantoms' three-goal third... Antero Niittymaki earned first-star honors with a 26-save performance... Game 5 will be Friday night back at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia.

Chicago can become the first team to reach the AHL's final four with a win in Cincinnati tonight (7:35 ET)... The Wolves have won six straight games and have outscored the Mighty Ducks 12-5 in the series... Cory Larose's hat trick in Game 3 gives him four goals in the three games against Cincinnati... Michael Garnett has stopped 67 of 70 shots (1.51, .967) for Chicago in the last two games... Fourteen of Cincinnati's 25 goals in the 2005 Calder Cup Playoffs have come via special teams (11 PPG, 3 SHG)... The Ducks are already 3-0 this postseason when facing elimination; the Wolves are 8-2 all-time in the AHL with a chance to close out a series.

With the series tied at 1-1 and the next three games scheduled for the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, tonight's Game 3 of the Atlantic Division final in Lowell (7:00 ET) is critical for both the Lock Monsters and the Bruins... Lowell's 5-4 loss in Game 1 was sandwiched by a pair of Cam Ward shutouts, including a 27-save effort to tie the series on Saturday night... Mike Zigomanis has recorded a point in six straight games for the Lock Monsters (3g, 5a)... Keith Aucoin, who grew up just outside Lowell in Chelmsford, Mass., has seven points (1g, 6a) in the last four contests for Providence... Hannu Toivonen has started 20 of the Bruins' 21 games in goal since returning from the injured list on Mar. 20.

Coming off a 5-4 overtime win on Monday night, Manitoba takes a 2-1 series lead into Game 4 of the North Division final against Rochester tonight (8:30 ET)... The Moose are 4-0 at the MTS Centre this postseason, and lead the AHL by averaging 8,810 fans per home playoff game... Lee Goren scored twice in Game 3 and is now tied for the league high with seven playoff goals... After his goal on Monday, the Americans' Paul Gaustad has recorded a point in six of the team's seven playoff contests (5g, 3a)... Ryan Miller has not lost three consecutive starts for Rochester since beginning the season at 0-4-0.
