Sound Tigers Sign Campbell to PTO

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Dec. 19, 2012) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today they have signed forward Scott Campbell to a professional tryout contract (PTO).

Campbell, 26, joins the Sound Tigers after beginning the season with the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL. The Navan, ON native has appeared in 24 games with the Wranglers, posting 10 points (four goals, six assists) and 17 penalty minutes.

The 6'2, 210-pound forward dressed in 19 AHL contests between Rochester, Texas and Houston over the past two seasons. The second-year pro totaled 31 points (15 goals, 16 assists) during his rookie season with Las Vegas last year. Prior to turning pro, Campbell played four seasons at UMass-Lowell, compiling 85 points (39 goals, 46 assists) in 126 games.
