Celebrate the Holidays with the Amerks on "Festive Sweater Night" this Friday

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans will host the Binghamton Senators at The Blue Cross Arena on Friday, Dec. 21 at 7:05 p.m. in the team's final home game before a brief holiday break. The Amerks will be getting into the holiday spirit with a variety of festivities, including a visit from Santa Claus, 12 Days of Hockey Prizes, Mystery Holiday Ornaments and a "Festive Sweater" ticket promotion.
Fans that show up to The Blue Cross Arena Box Office prior to the game wearing a festive holiday sweater will be able to purchase a ticket in the best available seating location for just $15.
The Amerks will continue to help get fans in the holiday spirit throughout the evening by giving away "12 Days of Hockey Prizes." The team will be giving away 12 different prize packages during the game, which include gift cards from The Distillery, H&R Block, Pulse Limos of WNY, Tim Hortons, Tops Friendly Markets, TRATA and Supercuts, as well as specials prizes from Geva Theatre courtesy of DeCarolis Truck Rental, Healthsource Chiropractic, Molson/Coors, Pepsi and Vision Collision, along with autographed Amerks merchandise.
In addition, the game will feature the premiere of this year's Amerks "12 Days of Hockey" video and a visit from Santa Claus, who will be in attendance at the game to pose for photos with fans. The Amerks will also be selling autographed "mystery" Amerks holiday ornaments for $10 apiece in the upper concourse.
The Zubaz Pants Party takes place during Friday's game for anyone who purchases the ticket package through Friday at 3 p.m. For just $30, fans can purchase a pair of Amerks-colored Zubaz pants and a Party Deck ticket to Friday's game against Binghamton, giving Amerks fans the chance to watch their team in comfort and style. The $30 price of the package, which can be purchased at www.amerks.com/zubaz represents a savings of $21.
The Amerks Happy Hour runs from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Upper Atrium Bar and features live music from Amy Montrois and $2 Molson and Coors Light drafts.
