Sound Tigers Release Preston Mizzi

BRIDGEPORT, CT – The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, the top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have released Forward Preston Mizzi from his professional tryout contract. Mizzi attended training camp with the Sound Tigers, signed a PTO, was released and re-signed last week and appeared in one game with the team.

The Sound Tigers will host the Hartford Wolf Pack this Friday at 7:35 p.m. before playing the first of five straight road games when they visit the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins this Saturday at 7:05 p.m. Friday's game will be broadcast live on 600 WICC-AM and at www.soundtigers.com. Saturday's game is subject to pre-emption on WICC by Yankees baseball but will be broadcast live, as all games this season will be, at www.soundtigers.com.

Sound Tigers individual-game tickets are on sale at the Harbor Yard box office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and on all game days, as well as on-line at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 203-368-1000.
