HALLOWEEN JERSEY AUCTION RAISES $24,250

The first of three jersey auctions this season raised a total of $24,250 on Sunday, Oct. 19, when the Phantoms hosted the Syracuse Crunch. Philadelphia wore special orange Halloween-themed jerseys with black spider webs that night before auctioning them off at Bullies Sports Bar & Restaurant.

Goaltender Antero Niittymaki's No. 1 jersey sold for the most at $1,550, followed by defenseman John Slaney's #26 at $1,275. Proceeds are going to Phantoms Wives Charities.

NOV. 7 IS NAC RECOGNITION NIGHT

It will be National Adoption Center Recognition Night on Friday, Nov. 7, when the Phantoms host the Hershey Bears. The NAC will have information tables on the concourse that night as part of November Adoption Awareness Month. The first 2,500 people in attendance will also receive a sports bottle, courtesy of Wendy's.

FIRST PHANTOMS PLAYER CLINIC ON TUESDAY

The first of 10 Phantoms Player Clinics will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 21 from 5:10-7:20 at the Sovereign Bank Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, N.J. Forwards Peter Vandermeer and Mark Murphy will be conducting the clinic for members of the Voorhees Mites B Travel and Mites Limited Travel teams. Phantoms Player Clinics are sponsored by Carrabba's Italian Grill.

MEYER & ABEL TO PARTICIPATE IN "OPERATION WARM"

Defenseman Freddy Meyer and center B.J. Abel will be participating in "Operation Warm" at the New Jersey State Aquarium on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 2:00 p.m. "Operation Warm" serves to give brand new coats to over 25,000 local kids this winter, and the New Jersey State Aquarium is serving as one pick-up point.

MEET THE TEAM PARTY A SUCCESS

A total of 170 people attended last Tuesday's Meet & Greet with the entire team and coaching staff at Dave & Buster's. Fans lined up out the door and down the stairs to enter D&B's Showroom for the opportunity to get autographs, take pictures and talk one-on-one with the 2003-04 Phantoms.

PHANTOMS BEGIN POSTGAME SHOW IN BULLIES

Hosted by David Unkle of The Topcat Sports Show on WNJC 1360-AM, The Phantoms Postgame Show lets you get up close and personal with your favorite Phantoms player following 21 games throughout the season. SAMUELSSON ON "INSIDE THE PHANTOMS"

Assistant coach Kjell Samuelsson will be the guest on "Inside the Phantoms" this Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 4:30 p.m. Hosted by David Unkle, the show features a player interview, news on the team and ticket giveaways every other Tuesday throughout the season on WNJC (1360 AM).

"RUMBLE WITH THE PHANTOMS" RETURNS OCT. 29

The Phantoms' weekly radio show, "Rumble with the Phantoms," is taking the week off and will return on Wednesday, Oct. 29. Hosted by Tom Shaw, the show features a player interview, news on the team and ticket giveaways every Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. on WNJC (1360 AM).

CN8 TELEVISING SIX PHANTOMS GAMES THIS SEASON

The Phantoms are proud to announce that CN8, The Comcast Network, will be televising six games during the 2003-04 season. CN8, a leading regional news, sports and entertainment network, reaches 6.2 million homes spanning from Maine to Maryland. CN8's six-game package begins on Sunday, Dec. 28 at 5:00 p.m. ET, when the Phantoms host the Binghamton Senators at the Wachovia Spectrum. The schedule also features a Saturday afternoon showdown with the Milwaukee Admirals at the Wachovia Center on Jan. 31; road games in Hartford, Hershey and Manchester; and an important end-of-season home match-up with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Friday, March 26. The CN8 broadcast team will include play-by-play announcer Mick Moninghoff and color commentators Orest Kindrachuk and Brad Park.

STUDENT TICKETS JUST $8 ON WEDNESDAYS & FRIDAYS

College and high school students with valid student IDs can attend all Phantoms games on Wednesdays and Fridays this season for just $8.
