Sound Tigers Release Landry from PTO

BRIDGEPORT, Conn (Dec. 7, 2010) ‚¬" The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced Tuesday that they have released defenseman Jon Landry from his Professional Tryout Contract (PTO).

Landry joined the Sound Tigers on Nov. 21 and recorded an assist in his Sound Tigers debut on that same day, a 3-0 win over the Portland Pirates. Landry recorded his first goal as a Sound Tiger on Nov. 24 against the P-Bruins. The Lexington, Mass. native returns to the Kalamazoo Wings, the Sound Tigers ECHL affiliate, where he has totaled six points (three goals, three assists) in nine games this season.
