Florida Panthers Recall RW Evgeny Dadonov

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has recalled RW Evgeny Dadonov from the Rochester Americans (AHL). The second-year pro can potentially make his NHL season debut tonight as the Florida Panthers host the Colorado Avalanche at 7:30 p.m. at the BankAtlantic Center.

Dadonov, 21, earns his first call-up to the Panthers this year. He appeared in 24 games with the Rochester Americans this season, registering a team-high eight goals and eight assists for 16 points with four penalty minutes. Dadonov made his NHL debut with the Panthers on April 6, 2010 against the Ottawa Senators. For his career in the NHL, he has played in four games, all with Florida, registering no points.

The Chelyabinsk, Russia native was drafted by the Florida Panthers in the third round (71st overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

In another move, the Panthers announced today that they have placed RW Radek Dvorak (shoulder) on injured reserve.
