
Coyotes Recall Ekman-Larsson from San Antonio

GLENDALE, Ariz. --- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson from the San Antonio Rampage, the Coyotes' American Hockey League affiliate.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Ekman-Larsson has played 15 games with the Coyotes this season, collecting four assists and 12 penalty minutes. Ekman-Larsson has also played 10 games with the Rampage, registering 10 points (2 goals, 8 assists) and 14 penalty minutes.
The 19-year-old native of Karlskrona, Sweden was drafted by the Coyotes in the first round (6th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
