Sound Tigers offer $5 tickets, promos Tuesday and Wednesday

The Bridgeport Sound Tigers are offering specially-priced $5 tickets to children 12-and-under and all students with valid student identification to their upcoming school vacation week home games - Feb. 20 and 21. Tickets are only $5 for children and students when the Sound Tigers host the Albany River Rats on Tuesday, Feb. 20th and the Philadelphia Phantoms on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at the Arena at Harbor Yard - both at 7:30 p.m. There are exciting events and giveaways at these upcoming games with a public skate and hockey card giveaway on Feb. 20th and a Trumbull versus Stamford high school boys' hockey game on Wednesday, Feb. 21.
Tuesday, Feb. 20 vs. the Albany River Rats, 7:30 p.m.
Pregame Skate and Hockey Card Set No. 2 Giveaway
Arrive early and bring your skates for a special, free skate on Sound Tiger ice. The ice will be open from 5-6 p.m. (Please bring your own skates as rentals will not be provided.)
The Sound Tigers hockey card set includes images and statistics of Robert Nilsson, Mark Wotton, Blake Comeau and Sound Tiger alumnus Trent Hunter, now with the Islanders. The giveaway is sponsored by Integrated Rehabilitation Services.
Prior to the public skate and Sound Tigers' game, the Fairfield Country Day School hockey team will take on Rumsey Hall at 3:45 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 21 vs. the Philadelphia Phantoms, 7:30 p.m.
Prior to the Sound Tigers' game, the Trumbull and Stamford boys' hockey teams will face-off at the Arena in an FCIAC battle at 4:30 p.m.
Students from Fairfield Country Day School and Stamford and Trumbull high schools have a chance to cheer on their classmates and friends at the Arena, then join them to root for the Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the New York Islanders. Fliers detailing this promotion are available in the main offices of participating high schools. Tickets may be ordered at the schools, or purchased in advance by calling the Sound Tigers at 334-4625, or at the Arena Box Office through the start of the Sound Tiger game.
